I decided to put this site together having been into sailing for the last couple of years. Many people have been very helpful and become good friends. The sailing and boating community has it's own nationality and culture. It's worldly and wonderful and needs to be shared amongst those good people that help makes others lives so fulfilling.

My name is Alan Andrews, A Brit now residing in the USA for the past 6 years and enjoying the welcoming water world.

I searched around the web to find what I could use to help me along the sailing way. There's plenty of information out there but it tends to be spread about thinly and no ideal way to find the straight forward answers to straight forward questions. It is my intention to try and change some of that if not all of it.

The boaters mentality seems to be one that wants to help other boaters, I think that's a great philosophy for a peaceful life. It's a life like no other and no better in my opinion.

No it's not all perfect but that's the balance just like life itself. The rewards are not easily explained, you have to be there, trust me you will feel it.
